The film showcases the songs ‘Symptoms’, ‘Motives’, ‘Consequences’, and ‘Killer for My Love’. The narrative delves into themes of romance, relationships, abuse, jealousy and criminality. Sherelle Lewis leads the cast as Phenox, with Winfree as Kastle Face. Roderick World Harris Jr completed the cast as Ghost – the ruthless ex of Phenox.
The 11-minute video opens with Phenox’s victorious escape from her abusive partner – retreating to an opulent beachside hotel. Upon check-in Phenox is introduced to the bell-boy attendant (Kastle Face), portrayed by Winfree. The narrative follows their ascending romance and flirtation, despite Phenox’s unpleasant flashbacks. At the mid-way point, their romance is threatened with the arrival of the ex-boyfriend. The short is constructed with no character dialogue.

Sharelle Lewis’ performance is alluring from the offset – a commendable portrayal. Cinematography, lighting, production design and post-production are of a first-class professional standard.
