Review

Tim Earnheart’s sci-fi thriller artfully depicts the desire for vengeance following a painful betrayal at the highest level of business as Astrid (Esha More) betrays her friend Evelyn (Joy Park). Despite being misrepresented, the latter knows how set the ball in motion for a dramatic comeback, inviting Astrid to a members-only club for payback.

The film as expected of a thriller has some of the best features of the sci-fi genre to keep viewers entertained and excited. The cinematography by Matt Fleming is especially remarkable, with every frame calculated and thoughtfully composed in its design and flow. It impressively adds to the escalating immersive atmosphere as the short film progresses.

The production design and special effects are also flawlessly done, giving the thriller an unrelenting intensity that doesn’t miss a beat. The exceptional acting is a highlight of the film – especially Esha More’s portrayal as the self-serving antagonist.

Overall, Tim Earnheart’s sci-fi thriller is an exciting blast of heightened tensions, mind-blowing twists and pure entertainment. The film executes elements of vengeance, corporate intrigue, and sci-fi sensibilities with smooth confidence, additionally demonstrating the level of production innovation capable when people have enormous passion and talent. Highly recommended, and an excellent short film well worth seeking out.
