Directed by Chris Weatherly, from a script by Jonathan Boettcher, ‘Fragile Strength’ is a short drama film that delves into the relationship between an attentive high school teacher and a promising young student. Starring B.T Terrell as Mr. Alden, and Jeneya Miller as Valerie, the narrative explores social deprivation and a single parent family. Weatherly and Boettcher have crafted a riveting film with stellar performances by the entire cast. Jeneya Miller’s portrayal as the overburdened young student deserves high praise and acclaim. B.T Terrell (Mr. Alden) gives an equally laudable performance that underpins the benevolence of the teaching profession. Dave Docimo’s outstanding cinematography is certain to keep viewers engaged with the unfolding drama. Sound, post-production and music are delivered to a high-quality professional standard.
