Written and directed by Travis Patten, ‘Morgan’ is a short drama film that delves into the loneliness and heartbreak of young woman as her life spirals out of control. Darcy Doyle leads the cast as the eponymous character, with Kristin Keith and Ashton Lewis in supporting roles. The poignant narrative unravels the protagonist’s fragile mental health following a breakup. Her pursuit of immediate comfort is unintentionally dismissed by her cliental, which leads Morgan down an isolated path of loss, fear and instability.

The 12-minute film, which is entirely set in one single day, opens with Marissa leaving Morgan’s home after their breakup. After a mysterious note is place on her front door, Morgan takes refuge at her sisters home to deliberate her pain.
