Unravelling supernatural shenanigans: An unmissable comedic spectacle.

Review

Markus Meedt’s uproarious comedy-horror, ‘Paranormal Investigators’, is so hilarious that it will leave you gripping your sides with laughter from start to finish. This short wastes no time diving headfirst into the eerie unknown, only to pull off a daring narrative pirouette that propels it into comedic orbit. Led by the delightful Alice Etches as Abi, a fresh face in the paranormal sleuthing scene, alongside the dynamic duo of Toby (Howard Perret) and Ewan (Edward Mitchell), prepare for a wild romp through the supernatural underbelly of the UK.

Buckle up for a whirlwind of absurdity as our intrepid trio tackles paranormal predicaments with all the finesse of a bull in a china shop. The comedic crescendo hits its peak with Sam Holmes’s uproarious portrayal of Chris, whose tumultuous fear of his partner’s “demonic doll” Wendy turns the scene into a riotous spectacle of chaos and hilarity.

Meedt’s film wields British humor like a razor-sharp wit sword. Penned by the brilliant minds of Howard Perret and Alex Gibbons, the script crackles with sharp dialogue and clever characterizations that hit the mark every time. A special mention to cinematographer Nicholas Britt, who adds an array of high quality cinematic skill throughout.

‘Paranormal Investigators’ blends supernatural intrigue with gut-busting humor. With an added bonus of an unexpected twist, this short is a must-watch for anyone craving a few minutes of top-notch entertainment. It’s impeccably crafted, superbly acted and outrageously funny. Unmissable.
