The 28-minute film forms part of a wider series of the Lake District. In this docu-short, Neil Emery grapples with the harsh English winter as he ascends the hills on a 10-hour trek. Throughout the film, Neil delivers his knowledge of the area and the routes to follow. A poignant scene is during his visit to a memorial site of an aviation disaster, where some of the remains are still present. (Halifax Bomber LL505, 1944). A fine film full of awe-inspiring scenery from start-to-finish.
