Walker Borba leads the cast as Roger. The coming-of-age film explores themes of sexuality, public health and nature. A hilarious dark comedy that will reward viewers will a ton of belly-laughs.
The 18-minute film opens with Roger and his girlfriend embracing a late-night romantic swim. Unbeknownst to the young couple, the water is contaminated with an endangered insect – which subsequently finds its way inside Roger’s body. With the onset of symptoms, medical/environmental specialists inform him that the species is protected and should be left alone – much to Roger’s disbelief. As his relationship and sport takes a hit, Roger takes matters into his own hands to remove the insect. A farcical tale that will captivate and entertain audiences.
Walker Borba delivers a fine performance as Roger, supported by an outstanding cast that aid comic relief. Cinematography is of a professional industry standard with neat editing, music and sound.
