The film follows Christopher Osborne on his last outdoor photography adventure in Dubai, prior to immigrating to Germany. The docu-short explores themes of creativity, friendship, community and culture. Viewers will be captivated by the level of artistic intimacy seen throughout.

The 9-minute film opens with an introduction to Christopher Osborne. He tells of his childhood passion for photography, his supportive parents and how family life put his artistic endeavors on hold. In his later years, Osbourne regularly meets with other photographers, as they walk the streets of Dubai capturing everyday life and culture. The sense of friendship, community and encouragement rewards him enormous fulfilment. The documentary concludes with the film development process, where Osbourne strives to produce unique imagery.

Mazen Hamed Alhaj Salem has created a delicate film that gently captures Osbourne in his prime. Despite being a low budget production, the film is delivered with high quality cinematography, sound and music. Christopher Osborne is endearing to watch – his artistic passion shines through the screen from start to finish. A charming watch. Highly recommended.
