A chilling animation that rewards suspense and mystery.

The narrative of the film is mostly visual, relying on subtle comic touches and inarticulate sounds to draw out the humor. Despite the slender vocal performances by J. Anthony Clark and Dorothy Joan Clark, both actors do a commendable job in bringing the characters to life, complementing the richly textured visuals and soundtrack.
The animation itself is a triumph, with every scene exquisitely crafted to draw out the humor whilst retaining the heartfelt tones of the story’s narrative. The characters are well-drawn and highly relatable, with the father’s determination and can-do attitude serving as a source of inspiration for anyone who has faced similar kitchen challenges.
The film’s themes of chaos and determination run throughout the narrative, creating a sense of levity that adds to the feeling of the story’s heart-warming ending. Overall, Derek Cuneo and Sasha Cuneo’s short animation film is a true gem of a cinematic experience that is both fun and inspiring.
