Directed by Gavin Matthew, Sonia Forcada and Trey Jordan, from a script by Craig Selbrede and Liam Gilbey, ‘Hurt’ is a short drama film that acts as an episode from a wider web-series. Chapter 1, titled ‘We Are Who We Are’, follows the melancholic life of Stone Scriven (Craig Selbrede) – who finds himself crippled with depression with no job prospects or life purpose. The 20-minute episode opens with Stone overcome with sorrow and despair. Despite concerned meddling from his siblings, Stone withdraws further into misery with suicidal tendencies.
